Winter Fitness Classes

  • January 9- February 17 
  • $30 covers all classes for the six week session
  • $5 off before January 10th
  • $5 off by registering for "Get Healthy Franklin"
  • Open to all men and women 14 years and older
    • a parent or guardian must signthe waiver for anyone under 18 years of age
  • Certified personal trainers, Zumba and PiYo instructors
  • Childcare provided when specified
    • $1 per child per class
    • children must be supervised by an adult or childcare provider at all times when they are in the building
    • For safety, children are not permitted to stay in the fitness room while class is going on.
  • Before beginning any new fitness routine or physical activity, FMCC recommends that you consult your primary care physician

Class Description

Interval Training

Resistance training, High Intensive Interval Training.  Bring dumbbells, mat and water.

Kickboxing

High energy, great music.  Any level can participate, go at your own pace.  Bring Water. 

Circuit Weights

Circuit weights class combined with High Intensity Interval Training.  All fitness levels can attend.  Bring dumbbells, a mat and water.

Zumba

An aerobic class that incorporates Latin dance moves and rhythms; only water and perhaps a towel are needed; fairly high cardio level, but participants can move at their own pace

PiYo

PiYo™ is a class that combines Yoga Poses with Pilates mat exercises to build CORE strength and enhance agility and balance.  PiYo™ is a faster paced class than Gentle Yoga and provides a moderately challenging workout similar to Vinyasa (flow-style) yoga. Bring a mat and water bottle and we will be in bare feet or socks.

Running/Walking

Sometimes you run, sometimes you walk. It all depends on who is chasing you.
